Tented Garden Weddings, is there anything better?

Truth be told, I love all sorts of weddings, but I am a sucker for garden weddings. I don’t know what it is about them that I adore. They are more work and harder to achieve since we have to build a venue from the ground up. Despite the extra labour and money, it is still worth it. The investment pays off in droves. Kassandra and Anthony’s wedding was no exception. They originally had planned to get married in 2020 at an indoor venue and have the ceremony outside. Well, Covid and our government had other plans, so we pivoted and made magic. Their Covid wedding was so much better than the non covid wedding we were planning in 2019. It’s hilarious how life gives you lemons, and then you make the best lemonade on earth! After this happy accident, I’ll take all the lemons life will offer and make a fortune on lemonade! Anyway, back to the wedding. Due to some restrictions and the limitations with indoor weddings, Kassandra, Anthony, and I changed course with six months to go. We changed venue, wedding date, opted for a band instead of the DJ, and revamped the entire design. Not one item was the same from the first wedding we planned. And just like that, this beautiful wedding was born on July 11th 2021. There was so much love in the air, it was the perfect soirée: cozy, warm, and inviting, just like Kassandra and Anthony. I think we will all remember their special day for years to come! Thank you to the most talented photographer Annabelle Agnew for capturing every moment, she did not miss a beat!

Cheers to cozy and romantic weddings and people for that matter- lol.

xoxo
